Roles;
edit: We’ve made a basic layout of who gets to do what, in terms of sharing this workload and making the most of the time we’ve been allotted.
Combined:
The roles of things like directer and writer are shared, I think in this assignment, this idea is likely to constantly shift around, taking new inspirations and paths and ideas, and so we’ll both need to be open to expressing points of view on what is, and isn’t going to work at every stage of the filing and post-production processes.
Tim:
Digital Effects, working in Photoshop to piece together all the wisps and elaborate sparklesnake things we envision will absorb our characters.
The entire last scene, at this point, is digital. Lots of work.
Rob:
Cameraman, which will involve doing the research into the stop motion genre and looking at how and which shots to take to give that illusion of the moving subject. Because of his involvement into this area of stop motion research, it seems a bit unnecessary for me to mirror him.
